Registration now open: ySSN Early Career Researchers' Symposium, 28.1.2022
Dear Early-Career Neuroscientists,
We are pleased to announce that the Young Swiss Society for Neuroscience (ySSN) will hold its annual Early-Career Researchers Symposium on Friday January 28th, 2022 at the University of Fribourg, Campus Peroles with the overarching topic “Ontogeny of cognition and gender bias in neuroscience research”.
Showcase your research at the ERS 2022 as a talk or a poster, and network again in person with your peers from all over Switzerland!
Register to attend the keynote lectures of Dr. Flavio Donato, group leader of the “Development of neuronal circuits and cognitive functions” team at the University of Basel, and of Dr. Maria Teresa Ferreti, external teacher at the University of Vienna, TED speaker and co-founder of the “Women’s Brain Project”. Registration will also give you access to the talks and posters of other young researchers, as well as the apéro at the end of the event.
Master’s students, PhD students and Postdoctoral fellows are greatly encouraged to register and apply for a short talk or a poster presentation here.
The submission deadline for abstracts will be January 12th, 2022.
The registration deadline to attend without an abstract will be January 21st, 2022.
To promote maximum participation, this year’s event will take place both in-person and virtually. Please note that virtual participation gives only access to the talks.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, a valid COVID certificate will be required and the use of face masks will be mandatory.
The final program will be sent a week before the event.
