Synapsis Foundation - Call for Proposals 2021 published

The goal of the Synapsis Foundation – Alzheimer Research Switzerland ARS is to support innovative research projects on Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative disorders.

The foundation launches two separate calls:

  • Career Development Award (for Advanced PostDocs)
  • Research Grant for Principal Investigators (established researchers)

 

In both funding schemes we welcome high-risk proposals based on sound science and truly original ideas related to the following topics:

  • Research in genetics, molecular and cell biology of Alzheimer’s disease or related neurodegenerative disorders.
  • Innovative clinical approaches towards the pre-symptomatic diagnosis or therapeutic interventions in neurodegenerative diseases.

The submission deadline for this Call for Proposals is 20 June 2021.
